A National Transitional Council (NTC) official confirmed that the dead body of the killed and humiliated Gaddafi has finally been buried after the body was on display like an animal for last four days. The bodies of ex-Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi, his son Muatassim and a top aide have been buried in secret in the desert, according to the source.
With this, the so called free Libya or a step towards being another Afghanistan/Iraq goes another big step forward in the African country. It must be reminded that, Colonel Gaddafi’s family wanted the bodies to be buried outside the former leader’s hometown of Sirte. But officials from the NTC planned and executed a secret burial.
The location of the burial is unknown and will remain that way.
Only the coming future will tell how badly the Libyans are hurting themselves at this moment.
